Alvechurch Data have been based in Birmingham UK since 1993 and have development experience with all versions of Microsoft Visual FoxPro and Access.

They use Access for smaller databases where the users are comfortable with Microsoft Office and want to take active ownership of the system. This degree of ownership ranges from users who just want to add and alter queries to developers who intend to extend the system based on the foundation that we provide.

They use Visual FoxPro where the client needs a self-contained, royalty-free system that will run on a variety of machines or where the data volumes are beyond the limits of Access. Both FoxPro and Access systems can be upgraded to use larger data stores such as MySQL or SQL Server.

Alvechurch Data also provide specialist training for database users and developers. Each course is unique and is designed to meet the needs of the delegates. The courses are based firmly on their development experience and  the courses concentrate on the problems of real-world development.
